Nestled in a serene countryside, this guesthouse is a beautiful gem. the gardens are stunning and the patio is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the amazing sunsets. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the shared bathroom is absolutely spotless. the homemade breakfast is a must-try and will leave you wanting more. You can unwind in the hot tub while sipping drinks brought to you by the lovely hosts. This is the place to be for a peaceful and comfortable stay in the area.

It's a shame that the rooms are a bit small and some could hear squeaky floorboards.

We had a truly magical stay at Asar Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest couple who made us feel right at home. The breakfast, prepared freshly each morning by Hrefna, was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. The house itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We loved the quiet location and the relaxing atmosphere, especially when enjoying the hot tub filled with fresh water. Only a short drive from Akureyri, the guesthouse offers the perfect blend of serenity and convenience. we would highly recommend Asar Guesthouse for a longer stay and can't wait to return in the future.

Stayed here during the Christmas season, and enjoyed my time here. the hosts were welcoming, offering a delicious breakfast every morning with fresh baked bread. the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions. the property itself was well-maintained and clean. the highlight of my stay was watching the aurora from the backyard of the guesthouse. A memorable experience that I'll never forget.

The guesthouse was quite expensive compared to other options in the area. the room was smaller than expected, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
